Community Bank Wentworth & District has been an integral part of our region since 1999.

Our Story and History:

• Community Bank Wentworth & District Opened on 18^th March 1999
• Wentworth was the 9^th community bank to open, now over 300 nationally.
• Original board was made up of 9 members, the current board has 8 plus two Young Observers. All volunteers, representing a cross section of the community.
• 2003 first grants were distributed.
• Board of Management making local decisions and have local knowledge.
• Staff & Board involved in or engaged in numerous community group committees.
• Employ 10 local people in the Branch with local knowledge.
• Full range of banking services
• We continue to work with communities across Australia in achieving their own community enterprise.
• We believe a successful customer, creates a successful community, creates a successful bank – in that order.
• In 2024 we celebrated our 25^th Birthday

Every day our customers help change lives, and save lives, simply by banking with us. Home loans are building skate parks, preschools, ambulance stations and playgrounds.

Personal loans, business banking and credit cards are funding local events, sporting groups and disabled and aged care facilities.

Everyday banking is providing all this and more. In fact, $4.6 million has been returned to communities and initiatives in our region since the first grants issued in 2003.
